Consulting Background
Louise commenced her career as a graduate in the head office of a national food packaging organisation. After six years she moved into a Consulting role with an international consulting practice. Louise then worked in a range of consulting roles prior to moving to Hewitt Associates (now AON Hewitt), where she, together with two work peers from KPMG, opened the Melbourne office of Hewitt Associates.
Human Resources Management
Louise returned to an in house Human Resources line management role in 2000 when she took on the "green field" Human Resources Director role for a mid-tier business advisory and accounting practice. Over the next 8 years, Louise developed and grew the function to provide effective best practice HR solutions until the organization merged with another (larger) mid tier professional services accounting practice. Over the next 3 years Louise played an integral part in bringing the merging offices together, both locally and nationally.
CREATION of Intercept Consulting
Through the majority of her career, Louise has worn "two hats", continuing to undertake ad hoc Human Resources consulting projects, in addition to taking on HR Advisory appointments. These opportunities ultimately led to the creation of Intercept Consulting in 2010/11.
WIDE RANGE OF HR EXPERIENCE
Louise is an experienced People and Culture practitioner, having consulted to both public and private organisations in a variety of industry sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Business Administration) Degree and is an accredited Myers Briggs Type Indicator facilitator. She is an accredited mediator. In addition, Louise has lectured at Deakin University (Melbourne campus), tutoring both undergraduates and post-graduates in the areas of General Management and Compensation and Benefits.
From 2008 to 2016, Louise was invited to act as a specialist HR Advisor and member of the HR Committee of a not for profit organisation. She contributes a member of a NFP board.
